Is AI taking jobs or is there an AI opportunity?

According to an article published in the Herald Sun AI job displacement is going to impact our inner city workforce the most, with jobs requiring more physical work not experiencing the same displacement. 

Yes. AI is automating tasks. But there is a quieter truth: there is opportunity for businesses adopting AI. 

Right now in Australia, only a fraction of SMEs are truly using AI in a meaningful way, reported as somewhere between ~30 to 40%. That means the biggest opportunity isn’t in big corporates… it’s in places like outer Sydney, where small and medium businesses can leapfrog competitors.

This isn’t about replacing people. It’s about redesigning how work gets done. It's about upskilling and increasing AI literacy!
